History: Born to a Bookbinder, her father struggled to pay the bills. At a young age her father died while driving off some dire rats. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in sword use. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Euphemia was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and to reunite with her old friends

History: He got into the Miner business at a young age. He worked as a nervous Miner and found it very stressful. After a long history of fighting, Ashgarn and his spouse have recently divorced.

She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
