He prefers to carry a monstrous two handed axe, but if one is not available he will default to his greatsword. His silver hair is unkempt and raggedy. His fierce white eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Chem is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Chem grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Chem. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he dresses like a well dressed Painter does. His brown hair is greasy and uncared for. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Painter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Dabbledob was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He struck the Painter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult

History: Born in the south to a Mason, Torinn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Torinn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 2'11" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. Her chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Merla is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around her ears. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Tordrid was born on a far western forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Guard. After a long history of fighting, Tordrid and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to get a good night's sleep
