History: She was born in the east. Joan was born on a far eastern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Butcher. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. When Birel reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
