Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nalral grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nalral. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
