Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hupe embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Gifted from a young age, Hupe studied abroad. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Description: She wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, and carries longbows. Her hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. Her skin is flawless and her amber eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Yevelda's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Yevelda was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Yevelda fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: With tan face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His white hair is braided into rings. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. A true patriot, Naeris would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Naeris abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break

Description: Her right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She tends to wear a brown poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born in the north. She married young, but lost her spouse to giants. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Description: A 5'7" western man, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. His brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. He's also a talented Butcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion
