History: Barendd lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When Barendd reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Halander embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.
