History: Mugrunden lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by his family.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and a deep hatred of drow

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
