The war was a terrible time for her, and Shifting does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Blacksmith.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her hair is long and white with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is a Bookbinder first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A freak accident while working with her Fisher mother left her crippled. After a long history of fighting, Cecily and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mayor. He's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
