History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Description: This dark-skinned female wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her hair is blonde, silky, and of moderate length. Her fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat. He keeps his beige fur in a pixie cut. His yellow eyes peer out from beneath his small pastel hat.

Personality: He hates Tabaxis with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Shadow hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.
