History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vani fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her parents enrolled her in a Barbarian school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
