She prefers to carry a sword, but if one is not available she will default to her quarterstaff. She keeps her chestnut hair in a flapper bob. Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a halberd on his belt. His dark red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His white eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She sports a flattop fur cut. Her eyes are copper and catlike.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Mason. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mason.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
