History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Shadow took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up falchion and armor he uses now. Being a Laborer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Juliana was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Juliana never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: He was born into a rich family. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Thorpe was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
