Agnes Clapham, Female Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered black stockings. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her brown eyes peer out from beneath her Stetson grey hat.
Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She plays an instrument quite well.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Agnes was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Agnes was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Agnes decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Lance Acton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This northern man has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his pastel robe. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: Lance wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Druid, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he seems to be bored by most things
