History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Mastema took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor she uses now. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Mastema never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: Kali was born with her mother's beautiful face. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Now she works as a painting tutor during her time off.
