History: Valida lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with her Fisher mother left her crippled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student she started as a Painter, but she got bored and became a Spy. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Adrex was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Painter. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.
