She then took over the family business and is one of the better Mortician for hire.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by drow. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
