Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Bardryn lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Tailor, and she later adopted a second son.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
