History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs. His blue hair, when down, is lengthy. His black eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a Miner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born in the south to a Miner, Sammal learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He struck the Miner job and began his own company from there.

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His blonde hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He hates Dwarves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: This man stands a little under 3'3" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He tends to wear a white poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His silver hair is singed and shortened. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and to get a good night's sleep
