Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. River was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and regain custody of her son

Description: She wears tan trousers with pastel and violet striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. She carries a battered longbow and tarnished bastard sword as well. Her red hair is cut short. Her green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dalaba embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears a pastel cloak and cross-gartered white stockings. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He wears his orange fur down. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and regain custody of his son

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His white hair and beard is wavy and long. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Being a Painter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Description: She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and carries quarterstaffs. She keeps her long black hair kept up in a rat tail. Her half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
