History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Mindartis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and wants to raise his children well

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the east were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Description: A 6'3" southern man, he is dressed in earthy colors with a black and blue handkerchief worn on his left side. He wears his scarlet crest down. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Patrin does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Patrin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and to be a laborer again
