Through the years after Nurkara was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Nurkara's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gildmak does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of a Tanner, who enjoyed hunting, Gildmak was taken on many hunting expeditions. Gildmak liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 95. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Kadana was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Shadow was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shadow's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shadow and her spouse have recently divorced.
