History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Trail lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with her Baker father left her crippled. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has worked as a Barkeep like his father before him.

Motivation: To be a Map Maker again; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He got into the Dilettante business at a young age. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shepherd. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he's in love
