History: Havilar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Locksmith arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Meriele's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Meriele was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
