History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He became a Locksmith soon after.

Description: This late middle aged man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge and is in decent physical shape. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Ortegar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has a crush on the local mayor

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and to share knowledge with the world
