She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: Cairn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the south were limited. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and many brigands want him driven away

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tatyan grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Rosalind speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she has money and likes to spend it
