He found a children's book about a Dwarf Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She bought a quarterstaff and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
