She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Description: A 3'3" southern woman, she wears just a blue suit. Her hair is brown and curly. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her amber eyes.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: An older man who dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a red coat with blue slacks, he is not a threatening figure. His golden hair is still thick. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His white hair is braided into rings. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born in the north to a Farmer, Dreali learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Farmer for hire.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and someone believes him a fraud
