History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Broce was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Banker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She is a Lycanthrope in disguise. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the north to a Glassblower, Helen learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her childhood dream was to be a Ruler, but she was a colossal failure. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Glassblower.
