History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a green coat with black slacks, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her eyes are hazel and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Gale liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Eloise is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

History: Mehen hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
