History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nelkin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents enrolled him in a Expert school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion.

History: Numba was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to brigands.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
