History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and money/treasure

Description: This slender man stands about 5'9". He wears dull green sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed hand crossbow, just in case. His red hair has been sun bleached extensively. His skin is flawless and his silver eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Norkruuth will drive conversation. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Norkruuth grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Norkruuth. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: This slender man stands about 3'7". He wears silk and lounges about seductively. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eberdeb grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eberdeb. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Eberdeb fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
