Personality: She is a Herbalist first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Herbalist arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 53. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Faran's homeland. Faran decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: Gifted from a young age, Kristryd studied abroad. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Spy. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spy.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and further expansion of business
