Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, and a wedding ring on her left hand. Her wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her eyes are gray.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mialee grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mialee. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Mialee never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Umpen is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she is dressed in an above average manner. She has styled her chestnut hair well, parting it to the left. Her half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. The war was a terrible time for her, and Blossom does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
