History: Born to a Guard, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Naal grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Naal. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. Phelaia enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Yevelda abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and to reunite with her old friends

History: Eloise was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She worked as a nervous Painter and found it very stressful. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
