History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Cartwright. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Motivation: She is content; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a simple white robe with green stripes complete with hood. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Thrak began to lead the lost caravan. After a long history of fighting, Thrak and his spouse have recently divorced.
