History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Pelaios was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Pelaios never married again. Nicor was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
