History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Slave Trader arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She tends to her Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Hethress was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hethress's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and a deep hatred of dire rats
