When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Jacoba was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
