History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Caelynn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Caelynn. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Doctor. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

History: Born to a Bricklayer, her father struggled to pay the bills. A freak accident while working with her Bricklayer father left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Born in the south to a Knight, Mamnen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
