History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rolen was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
