History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Merla grew up listening to her father's many stories. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and prefers to wear flannel. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Yurk lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy brown stubble. She wears skinny pants and wears a brown and tan robe with the hood down. She has a hunchback. Her brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Azzakh was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Description: The dark-skinned woman stands 6'4" and wears a black vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her blue leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her black boots flare out at the collars. She has slicked back auburn hair. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she seems to be bored by most things
