History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Ranala wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Cleric, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Ranala was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and doesn't want to be a miner and was forced into it by her family

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Erdan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. She keeps her golden hair in a pixie cut. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her green eyes.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Meriele lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ribbles studied abroad. He worked as a nervous Barkeep and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barkeep for hire.

Motivation: Expand his business.
