History: Merla was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Merla was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Merla and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. Makaria is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Makaria was born with her father's beautiful face. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He prefers to wear red pants and tee shirts. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing singing.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Harann was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her childhood dream was to be a Soapmaker, but she was a colossal failure. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and to share knowledge with the world

His black hair is unkempt and raggedy. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
