History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Valafar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Rezena has worked very hard to control her curse. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Stableman for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Stableman responsibilities is difficult.

Description: An older man who is dressed in an above average manner, he is not a threatening figure. He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Olunt does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Olunt was born with his father's beautiful face. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Olunt was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.
