Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears dull green sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed lance, just in case. His silver hair is unkempt and raggedy. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. A true patriot, Balam would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balam fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. He wears his auburn hair up. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arannis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arannis. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

She wears a deerstalker hat to hide her balding. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her gray eyes.
Personality: Keyleth speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Keyleth abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.
Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. She keeps her beige fur in a pixie cut. Her blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Nimble was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She now owns her own business.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: Standing 5'9", this woman is wearing a long, grey cloak. Her hair is blonde and curly. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her first spouse was a Sage, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Sage they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Mercenary, and she later adopted a second daughter.
