History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He tends to his Bowyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: Quarethon speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
