History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aldous grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aldous. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Herleva was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Through the years after Herleva was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Herleva's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alvyn grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Thava has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
