History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Vanchu was born on a far southern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Sage. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: This man loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Locksmith but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. He has worked as a Locksmith like his father before him.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A gifted student he started as a Navigator, but he got bored and became a Crown-heir. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ellyjoybell grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and obtaining odd cultural dragonborn artifacts is her passion
