History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Beatrice was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Beatrice's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Hobart was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Hagren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
