History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Guard arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Therlin was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense.
